Obwohl die Färberkamille und die Kanadische Goldrute das wunderschöne satte Gelb teilen, lieben sie doch gänzlich andere Standorte. Die Färberkamille ist häufig an steinigen, trockenen Standorten anzutreffen. Die kanadische Goldrute hingegen bevorzugt feuchtere Standorte.

Bei Pflanzen sind als Färberpflanzen bekannt und ergeben einen kräftigen Gelbton.

Although the Dyer’s Chamomile and the Canadian Goldenrod share the beautiful, rich yellow, they love completely different locations. Dyer's chamomile is often found in stony, dry locations. The Canadian goldenrod, on the other hand, prefers wetter locations. Both plants are known as dye plants and produce a strong shade of yellow.
